Historical Thinking Unit

1.  Historians read by putting notes in the confusing parts so they can go back to it and shorten chunks. They also mark important stuff so they can easily find it and cross out useless stuff.
2. Historians will write history differently from each other because some people that were there at the event may change the history for their own purposes and some people tell the truth and others may exagerate. People also may write history even though they were not there so they might not know some details.

Thoughts on History

"First Day of School"
1. History is what made things are today.
2. I like it when someone explains things to me then trying it myself.
3. I honestly like history and find it interesting.
4. It look just like a class.
"My thoughts from 9-20-12"
1. History is what changed history and if they actually happened or not, like if Abraham Lincoln died by an assasin how do we know he actually died by an assasin instead of something else.
2. I like examples and seeing how to do it before i get started so i feel confident and know what to do.
3. I still like history and its fun because it's interesting and finding how if stuff actually happened at a specific time makes you feel like your actually there.
